We stayed here a full week for spring break. It was wonderfully relaxing and fun. Our three sons scuba dived just minutes from the place. We collected oysters and steamer clams just a 2minute walk from the place and ate these four nights in a row! The area is very pretty - right on the water. Not much hiking opportunity unless you want to drive. Lena Lake is fantastic and easy to moderate 6.5 mile hike. There is lovely short walk by stream in Lilliwup - access at the southern end of bridge but cougars and bears have been sighted ( we saw none). The place was very clean and met our needs except we don’t cook on teflon - so if you are that way bring your own frying pans. There are nice stainless steel kettles but no stainless steel frying pans. Great communication from host. Beautiful sprawling deck made outdoor enjoyment convenient. Would stay again.

This was a nice rental. The house provided plenty of space for our family of 10. It included a playpen and a booster seat that strapped to the chair. The kitchen was a nice size and the deck and hot tub were great for relaxing. Watching the wildlife on the Hood Canal and the tides roll in and out from the back deck was amazing. It could use some work though. The mattresses in the bunk rooms were thin, kind of similar to a cot mattress. Fine for kids not so great for older individuals and the one room had a nice size bed but a pretty stiff mattress, for some this could be a plus, just throwing it out there. There is really no good place to store your clothing in at least one of the rooms. I think three had closets, no dressers in any. There were two kayaks and a jr kayak, no paddleboard.. Only one paddle was meant for an adult kayak the other was a jr paddle and perhaps a paddle for a canoe but it wasn't a kayak paddle. There were some soft spots on the deck floor and one in the house itself. The carpets for the bathrooms were damp upon arrival but on the floor. Some of the members were a little chilly at night but there are no extra blankets but the ones that were on the bed. It is important to note that there is a burn ban in that area that falls every July to September you can look up the dates, during that time you cannot use the fire pit or the grill. Overall the house was nice but as stated above could use some attention.

The house is great and you cant beat the location right on the hood canal. Its such a great small town vibe. We did have a few issues with water pressure, the wifi not working, and the hot tub not heating up. I had to adjust the DHCP settings to get the wifi to work on the tv there as well as our mobile devices. The hot tub literally takes an entire day to get hot so we couldnt use it on day one. Oh, and the vent on the stove is motion activated and extremely annoying. Those are all minor things really. Over all we loved the place and the area.

Deck with direct beach access set the vibe the moment we arrived. The modern open living area offers beautiful sea and forest views, plus a hot tub and fire pit that kept our girls trip cozy.

We loved our stay- the location is gorgeous! Hot tub is nice but small. All good though- they really should update the photos- the yard and deck are way prettier/nicer than the photos! There weren’t any extra blankets or pillows, and hardly any cleaning supplies. Would have been nice to have a few extras but not a big deal overall. My one complaint was that they charged us $200 to change from 6 to 10 guests, even though the house sleeps 10 and the rules said $20 per “extra” person.

The place was very cozy, peaceful and beautiful right on the water's edge! We enjoyed the hot tub looking out at the stunning view and all of the wildlife that wanders through. The kayaks were a great addition to our weekend adventure. We had a wonderful end of the summer get away :)

We spent a holiday and had a great time overall. House was cozy and made us feel at home. View was beautiful during the day, and at night we could see the stars clearly, a really nice touch. But there were a few issues. We were a group of 8, and while the listing says it accommodates up to 10, one of the rooms with bunk beds had very thin, uncomfortable mattresses. So, I wouldn’t say it comfortably sleeps 10, especially if everyone expects a decent rest. We arrived after check-in time (is at 4, we arrived past 5), but the cleaner was still there. Since the previous guests had checked out at 11, it was surprising the house wasn’t ready. I believe the hot tub wasn’t properly cleaned before our arrival. We used it responsibly and left it in the same condition we found it, but after our stay, the host filed a complaint claiming we left it too dirty and requested a fee to drain it. Overall, the house has charm and a great atmosphere, but some aspects could be better managed.
